E-Z Media Converter is a multimedia file converter that supports a wide variety of formats. The quality of this product is average. The interface can be confusing when you have your first contact with it. The big icons on the left are unaesthetic but that is not as important as the fact that two of them are very non-suggestive.
On the other side, the program is free and that can be a big advantage for some users. The list of file types it can open is quite large.
The help consists of one dialog with three instructions. Previewing the video you’re about to convert sometimes doesn’t work. Conversion speed is kind of slow.
At least the quality of the converted video is laudable. Details aren't lost or it’s not noticeable.
With a little bit of effort, the developer could improve and make this program much better. It has the potential to be a great utility and the impressive list of recognized file types would be a great asset if everything would work flawlessly.
If you’re not too keen on the lack of an intuitive interface, some occasional errors and sometimes a black preview window, then maybe you’ll be satisfied with this piece of software.
